Ariel Wallace, aka A.W, the Barber, is a professional Barber, servicing men, women and children.  She is a talented Barber whose skills are highly sought after. She is a skilled barber, taking pride in every client; providing exceptional services to include, barbering, facials, enhancements, head, neck and upper shoulder massages. In additional to the meticulous service she provides, Ariel believes in creating and maintaining an environment that is positive, relaxing and wholesome.

Ariel is an effective communicator; she makes a point of knowing her clientele in order to ensure they get what they need from each visit; whether its conversation, light music or silence.  Professionalism and optimal service is what you will receive at Meticulous Cutz where Ariel is the proprietor.

Ariel began her career as a barber practicing on her dad, Pastor Joel Wallace, Sr. and her nephew, William D Ray, Jr.  The more time she spent cutting her dad and her nephew’s hair, the deeper her interest grew for the hair industry.  Before she knew it, Ariel had developed a deep love and passion for barbering. She wanted to learn more and to enhance her techniques. Therefore, she decided to use her savings to pay for barbering school. 

Ariel graduated from Avara’s Academy of Hair Design in Dundalk, Maryland on July 16, 2021.  On August 16, she passed the Maryland State Barber Board exam, earning her Maryland State Barber’s license.  Within months of earning her barber’s license, Ariel launched Meticulous Cutz.

In addition to being an excellent Barber, Ariel is a phenomenal musician. She is an accomplished trumpeter, percussionist and singer. Ariel also plays the flugelhorn and is currently learning keys.

Prior to pursuing a career as a Barber, Ariel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Bowie State University in 2012. Ariel is a warm, loving and friendly person, whose personality is engaging and will definitely brighten your day.
